Loyalty Programs You Need!

Author: Natasha Walton.

I have worked since I was 13 years old, and when you start out young working in fast food, you often don’t have a ton of money to be spending on items you want or need. During my years of working, I have learnt a few tips and tricks on how to save a dollar or two on shopping!

SEPHORA Australia: http://www.sephora.com.au/beauty_pass

With the Sephora loyalty program, you basically spend money to gain points. The points can then be used to get a percentage off on your order, free gifts, sales, invitations to events and competitions. It is worthwhile if you have a Sephora close to you or you shop regularly online. You also get a free gift when you join!

Priceline Sister Club: https://www.priceline.com.au/sister-club

The Priceline Sister Club is brilliant if you shop there often. The more money you spend, the more points you gain. The points are then accumulated and then you will receive a voucher to use within Priceline. You also receive a birthday gift and have access to exclusive competitions and giveaways!

IKEA Family: https://secure.ikea.com/ms/en_AU/secure/family/home.html

If you are an avid IKEA fan, then you need to join the Family! There are many benefits to joining the family such as 10% – 40% off on a range of planet friendly products. You are also covered on an extended returns policy for the life of your membership. You may even be lucky enough to win the weekly $250 gift voucher every time you scan your family card!

Velocity Frequent Flyer: https://www.velocityfrequentflyer.com/content/

If you drive often, you may want to consider this program. Every time you swipe your card, you gain points. The points then become dollars! So one day when you go to pay for your petrol and you swipe your card, you can get money off! Your card can also be used as an international prepaid VISA plus there are many more benefits on the website!

Nandos: https://www.periperks.com.au/#/

By joining the Peri Perks program with Nandos, you get exclusive offers and the points become money! This is a great way to save a few dollars every time you visit. Trust me, it is worth it!

Oportos: http://www.oporto.com.au/flame/

Oporto Rewards has the exact same principle as the Nandos Peri Perks. Saving money every time you eat out makes you feel a lot better about doing it. The more you scan your card, the more money you earn.

Muffin Break: https://members.muffinbreak.com.au

I found out about this program on the way to work one morning. I needed a good coffee fix and I came across Muffin Break. I picked up a loyalty card and the next time I used it, I got my coffee for free! What! Not only do you get your first coffee for free, you also get every 5th coffee for free*! That is a huge saving if you grab a coffee everyday on the way to work. I haven’t stopped going there since!  *Must be a small.

Flybuys: https://www.flybuys.com.au/#/

We all know what Flybuys is, so why not use it? Every time you swipe or scan your card, you gain points that can be exchanged for gifts! Cool, right?

Woolworths Rewards: https://www.woolworthsrewards.com.au/how-it-works/

Whenever you scan your Woolworths Rewards card, you save money on specific ticketed items. You also gain points which can allow you to save money when you buy petrol from the Caltex Woolworths petrol station.

Extra Tips:

Every time you visit a store, enquire about their loyalty program. I can assure you, a lot of them are worth your time. Some may only be interested in gaining your information for marketing purposes, but others, like the ones I mentioned, are worth your time. I also look for loyalty cards for cafes. They generally have the ‘buy 5 get the 6th free’ type of program. This is a great money saving tip when you buy these every day items often.
